This one day presentation and workshop aims to provide a better understanding of the clinical aspects of Younger Onset Dementia, including the frontotemporal dementias, as well as the burden and service needs of this group to optimise services for people living with Younger Onset Dementia.
Learning objectives:
- To gain an understanding of clinical aspects of younger onset dementia (including frontotemporal dementias).
- To gain an understanding of carer burden and the needs of people with dementia, as well as their family carers and supporters.
- To discuss service provision for clients with younger onset dementia and how these might be optimised top better meet the needs of this group.
