Professor John Keady is a mental health nurse in the UK and is founding and co-editor of the Sage journal Dementia:the international journal of social research and practice. John holds a joint appointment between The University of Manchester and the Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. He currently leads the Dementia and Ageing Research Team (DART) at the University of Manchester and has a particular interest in social research and the lived experience of dementia. John holds a number of externally funded research grants and has written/co-authored a number of books and articles focussed on dementia care and continues to input on the MSc in dementia care, which is available at The University of Manchester.
