Please note, this workshop is recommended for health professionals working with people living with cognitive impairment, including Practice Nurses, ACAT staff or similar.

- Understand adult learning principles and strategies to effectively deliver the Detecting Dementia workshop
- Anticipate barriers to identifying dementia
- Prepare discussion points (contextualise the issues)

- Know the signs and symptoms of dementia
- Recognise and respond to dementia-related changes in patients
- Identify and understand the phases of dementia
