Dementia is without question the biggest single health issue facing Australia in the 21st century. As health professionals you are the champions, you are the carers supporting and providing quality of life and dignity of care for people living with dementia. This 1 day conference, presented by Alzheimer’s Australia SA, SA & NT Dementia Training Study Centre and the SA Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service is your opportunity to make the connections – connections between the care you provide and the life lived by people with dementia, their families and communities.

At this event we ask you to invest in change; changes of mindset,  changes in practice,  change to the current culture of care, change in the way that the community see dementia. This event values you as the integral team providing care, celebrates the value of the person with dementia and the value of the care network. And finally – we hope to inspire you, your teams and your culture to be part of the dementia culture change because we are with you on this journey to provide better lives for people with dementia. At this conference, Understand Alzheimer’s Educate Australia.
